Deborah Strong pleased to report that she had two pieces juried into the ArtSpacific show in Delta. The opening is on Tuesday, March 15, 7-9pm.
Joyce Trygg would like to mention that I have been accepted into Women Artist of the West’s juried show, “ WAOWing the Lone Star State” in Rockport, Texas.
Megan Donald, our “adopted” young artist, will hopefully be at the garage sale. If anyone has any art supplies that they would like to donate to her – that would be wonderful.
Wendy Mould’s picture “Here Comes Trouble” has been excepted in the ArtSpacific juried show at the Firehall Centre for the Arts, 11489 84th Ave., Delta. Reception is Tuesday, March 15, 7-9pm and the show runs from March 15 – April 15.
Wendy Mould and Becky McMahon will be the Artists in Residence at the Newton Cultural Center, 13530 72 Ave, Surrey. The program starts Tuesday morning 10-12pm, March 22 and run through until June 14, 2011. They are looking forward to meeting new and established artists to join them in free art talks, demos, critiquing, and mentoring. Plans are also underway to offer affordable workshops in their artistic mediums.

Melodie Douglas and Marney-Rose Edge are in a group show called SEVEN! at the Federation Gallery. The opening reception is Thursday March 31 6-8 pm. The show is from March 29 – April 10 and all the artists will be in attendance April 10 1-4pm.
Marney-Rose Edge has a solo show called Essence at the Nyree Hazelton Gallery, 2652 Arbutus Street, Kitsilano. The show will be featuring her watercolor floral paintings from April1st to May 29th.
Marney-Rose Edge is a finalist for the second time in the International Artist magazine. Her Rose painting called Sensuous will appear in the April/May issue.
Marney-Rose Edge has achieved her AFCA status.
